Violent films `affect behaviour'
An adviser to the British Board of Film Classification claimed there is a link between on-screen and real-life violence in a small, though significant percentage of the population, writes Rhys Williams.
On tomorrow night's Panorama on BBC1, Dr Kevin Browne, who is conducting a Home Office study on the subject, says that for between three and 10 per cent of people, violent or pornographic films can be "unhealthy".
