A walker was left hanging by his fingers over a 150ft drop after falling down a ravine in Berwickshire.
The 54-year-old was walking in St Abbs when he slipped on the cliffs. Forth Coastguard sent a specialist team to the scene after receiving a call from the man's walking partner. The man was found clinging on to the cliff face after having fallen 20ft.
A spokesman for the Forth Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre said: "The man slipped down the ravine by the lighthouse at St Abbs and was hanging on by his fingertips.
"The coastguard on scene managed to secure a line to him and take him back to the top of the cliff where he was given the all-clear."
The coastguard has urged walkers to keep back from the cliff edges.
