PAUL AGUTTER, 48, of Athelstaneford, East Lothian, was remanded in custody by Edinburgh Sheriff Court accused of attempting to murder his wife by poisoning her, and attempting to murder an 11- year-old girl. He was also accused of putting contaminated bottles of tonic water on the shelves at the Safeway store in New Swanston, Edinburgh.
