A woman kept the mummified body of her husband in their home for six months, police in Wednesbury, West Midlands, said yesterday. Thomas Handley, 46, of West Bromwich, died from heart trouble last September, but his wife Paula, 62, was unable to come to terms with it. She left him fully dressed on the sofa until police officers found the body after a call from worried relatives on Monday.
