Films will be shown for the first time on trains in Britain from next week, writes Glenda Cooper. InterCity East Coast is introducing the service for an eight-week trial on trains from King's Cross in London to Edinburgh and West Yorkshire.
Passengers hire a portable video player and headphones for pounds 5 and choose from 10 feature films. For pounds 4, they can also hire one of 10 video games.
