IRA bomb attack

A civilian worker was in a 'serious but stable' condition in hospital last night after being injured in an IRA bomb attack on the joint police and army post at Crossmaglen, south Armagh. The base in the village centre was badly damaged. The IRA later said it used a new type of cylinder bomb.
