Jail term cut

A 12-year jail sentence on a jilted husband who held his wife's lover hostage at gunpoint for 30 hours was cut to nine years at the Court of Appeal. Roger Amos, 43, of Newport, South Wales, was told that his actions were not forgivable but his anger and frustration was understandable.
