Simon Berkowitz, 47, of Hove, East Sussex, who was jailed last August for two-and-a-half years for handling a document stolen from the solicitors of Paddy Ashdown, the Liberal Democrat leader, had his jail sentence cut by the Court of Appeal to 18 months.
