The jury in the trial of Darius Guppy - a jewellery merchant said to be the best friend of the Princess of Wales's brother Earl Spencer - and his business associate Benedict Marsh was continuing its deliberations at Snaresbrook Crown Court, east London, after retiring yesterday. The two men deny conspiracy charges relating to an alleged pounds 1.2m insurance fraud.
