Juveniles named
Judge John Rutter at Cardiff Crown Court made a rare order allowing the media to name two juveniles, Bleddyn Harding, 15, and Mark Hawkins, 14, who had attacked a 79-year-old widower in his bed. Sentencing Harding to six years' detention and Hawkins to five, he said the public needed to be protected from them. The pair admitted robbery and Harding also admitted inflicting grievous harm.
