A BUILDER aged 50 was remanded in custody charged with kidnapping the grandson of a Greek shipping magnate. Andreas Valinakas, of no fixed address, is accused of abducting Constantine Metcalf, 16 months, from his parents' home in St John's Wood, north-west London, last Thursday. The child was found in a van 15 hours later.
