Josephine Smith was jailed for life at Norwich Crown Court for murdering her husband by shooting him in the head as he slept.

Smith, 32, of Watlington, Norfolk, had admitted manslaughter, claiming he abused her although she never mentioned it to anyone. A group called Justice For Women said it planned to campaign against the verdict; Mr Smith's family said justice had been done already.
