THE Manchester firm Halliwell Landau, with accountants Arthur Andersen and the Manchester Evening News, has asked the Manchester Business School to examine the strengths and weaknesses of Europe's regional financial centres. The research aims to identify ways of ensuring that local industries use local professional advice, and to assess services such as banking, corporate finance, fund management and access to international markets.
