A revised edition of Transaction, the Law Society's conveyancing protocol, was this week sent to solicitors. The protocol (adoption of which is voluntary) has been streamlined to 'give your solicitor time to concentrate on the more complex and individual aspects of the transaction,' says Paul Marsh, chairman of the Law Society's protocol working party.
