A SURVEY by a firm of recruitment consultants shows that nearly 80 per cent of the legal practices consulted awarded pay rises of between 1 and 5 per cent in the past financial year. Michael Page Legal says the stagnant days of 1991 and 1992 are over, and demand and opportunities for solicitors are increasing.
