Small- to medium-sized law firms in north-west England are moving towards increased specialisation, according to a new survey by accountants Gruber Levinson Franks. The report also suggests that commercial and litigation practices are the most optimistic about the future; criminal and family law firms are the least optimistic. Most envisaged an increase in work over the next year, but were unsure whether their firms would provide them long-term with an adequate income.
