Legal fees control

The Law Society proposes that solicitors who fail to tell clients how much their services will cost should be fined. Solicitors would have to inform clients of likely costs and of any change in estimates. The Law Society also says the beneficiaries of wills should be able to challenge charges made by solicitors acting as executors.
