Three men appeared at Belfast magistrates' court yesterday charged with the murder of Margaret Wright, 31, who was beaten and shot in a loyalist drinking den. Christopher Sheals, 27, of Glengormley, Co Antrim, and David Jess, 20, and Stephen Rules, 28, both of Belfast, all deny murder.

Stephen Salters, 21, Warren Gibson, 21, and Allison Elliott, 24, all of Belfast, were charged with aiding and abetting murder. The six were remanded in custody until next month.
