'Lusitania' order

The Irish government imposed an Underwater Heritage Order barring unauthorised exploration of the wreck of the Lusitania, the liner torpedoed by a German U-boat off Co Cork in 1915. The move followed reports that a British diving team had spotted containers that could hold paintings by Monet and Rubens during a search last summer.
