EDDIE Browning, wrongly convicted of the M50 murder of Marie Wilks in 1989, has been awarded an interim payment of pounds 75,000 compensation, it was learned. Mr Browning, 42, from Rhondda, Mid Glamorgan, spent six years in jail.
