An unemployed man is due to appear before Enfield magistrates' court in north London today, accused of murdering Katrina Monk, 12.

Scotland Yard said that Keith Raymond Collard, 24, was charged after being arrested at his Enfield home on Saturday. Katrina was found dead in an alleyway near her home at Enfield Lock on 28 May. She had disappeared after leaving school the previous afternoon.
