Man charged over car park attack
A 31-YEAR-OLD man is due to appear before magistrates today charged with causing grievous bodily harm to Barry Hayes, a builder from Liverpool. Police said a man yesterday surrendered himself to officers investigating the attack, which happened on 11 August.
Mr Hayes lost the sight of his right eye when he was beaten by a man who attacked him after he reprimanded children tampering with the badge on his BMW car in a pub car park.
