A man appeared in court amid strict security today charged with the murder of David Wilson, an accountant, at his home in 1992.

Michael Austin, 38, allegedly known as Hector Portillo, is also accused at Chorley magistrates' court, Lancashire, with conspiracy to murder Mr Wilson, who was shot twice in the head while his family were held captive.
