Man jailed for shooting mistress

A man was jailed for six years at the Old Bailey for shooting his 23- year-old mistress. John Steel, 47, of Upminister, Essex, was cleared of attempted murder, but convicted of wounding with intent to cause grevious bodily harm and possessing a gun with intent to endanger life.
