A spokesman for the Marquess of Bristol - who is serving a jail sentence for possessing drugs - said the marquess hoped to avoid eviction from the family seat at Ickworth Hall, Suffolk, by agreeing to abide by a 'code of behaviour' devised by his landlord the National Trust.
