Mass DNA tests for Naomi inquiry
Mass DNA tests
for Naomi inquiry
Detectives hunting the killer who stabbed and sexually assaulted 15-year- old Naomi Smith yesterday said they would considering mass DNA testing of men in the area if it would aid the search. Forensic tests will show today if there is enough evidence to make testing feasible.
Naomi was killed just yards from her home at Ansley Common, near Nuneaton, Warwickshire, when she went to post a letter. Her body was discovered on Thursday night in a recreation area by her father Brian, 47, and her best friend Emma Jones, 15.
