Pearse McCauley, 29, from Co Tyrone, who escaped from Brixton prison in 1991 while awaiting trial for conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to cause explosions and possession of firearms, was jailed for seven years by the Special Criminal Court in Dublin for having a loaded gun when he was arrested last April.
