Men discover scent's appeal

Sales of men's toiletries are booming, according to a report by the market analysts Mintel. This year, sales were estimated to reach pounds 377m - up 55 per cent since 1987 - with much of the money spent at Christmas. Changing attitudes meant sales of all-over body sprays had increased by 213 per cent since they were introduced in 1985.
