Minister bans 'rave' dummies
Potentially dangerous imitation dummies were banned yesterday under emergency measures invoked by the Government. Baroness Denton, the consumer affairs minister, warned parents about the items, which she said appeared to be the latest craze for teenagers to wear as necklaces at rave parties.
She said: 'They could mislead parents and could present serious choking hazards to babies and toddlers as they have no ventilation to prevent choking.'
