Two men appeared before City of London magistrates on Saturday charged with money laundering offences under the international provisions of the Criminal Justice Act, Customs officers said. Paul Carpenter, 41, a photographer, and Timothy Hayworth, 45, a bloodstock agent, both US citizens living in west London, were remanded in custody until 22 October.
