Amother who fled Northern Ireland after a bomb was thrown at an Army patrol within 100 yards of her home won a High Court declaration that she did not make herself intentionally homeless. Mr Justice Tucker ruled that the London Borough of Brent's decision to reject Ciara McManus's claim that she and her 13-year-old daughter should be classed as homeless and rehoused was flawed.
