Allan Ryder, 89, of Paignton, Devon, whose car collided with a baby girl on a pedestrian crossing, leaving her with probable brain damage, was banned from driving after admitting he was not wearing his driving glasses. He was also fined pounds 300 for careless driving and failing to stop after an accident.
