POLICE have charged a man with the attempted murder of Linda Hardy, who was badly beaten as she walked her dogs. Mrs Hardy, 43, was attacked near Chipperfield Common, Hertfordshire, on 24 May and is still being treated in hospital. The man, aged 23, will appear in court at Hemel Hempstead tomorrow.
