Murder case doctor offered job

Dr Nigel Cox, the hospital consultant convicted of the attempted murder of a terminally ill patient, Lillian Boyes, 70, a sufferer from chronic rheumatoid arthritis, with an injection of potassium chloride, disclosed yesterday that he had been offered a job at another hospital. Dr Cox, 47, a leading rheumatologist, is also considering a 'managed return' to work at his old post at Winchester's Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Hampshire.
