Police in two cities launched murder inquiries after two young men were stabbed to death. In Manchester, police were studying film from a traffic camera in an attempt to find the killer of an 18-year-old. In Leicester, detectives were interviewing people who attended a discotheque visited by a man who was later stabbed to death.
