ONE OF the closest business associates of the fugitive businessman, Asil Nadir, who is accused of theft and false accounting to the tune of pounds 30m, is to return from exile in Northern Cyprus today in what is being seen as a challenge to the Serious Fraud Office to 'put up or shut up'.
Elizabeth Forsyth, 56, former chairwoman of the company that controlled Nadir's personal property, plans to surrender herself for questioning over the pounds 1.3bn collapse of Polly Peck in 1990. According to friends, she is due to arrive at London City Airport at 8am from Paris.
