A sex offender who was given probation and ordered to pay his six-year-old victim pounds 50 compensation said he wished he had been jailed. Terence Hadenham, 43, of Gosport, Hampshire, said: 'If he had put me inside for six months it would have made a couple of paragraphs in the local paper. But now everyone in my street knows about it.' The case has been referred to the Attorney General.
