Inspector Jeffrey Jones, 52, accused of rewriting statements used to convict two brothers of the murder of a Swansea sex shop manageress, was cleared of forgery at Chester Crown Court. Insp Jones, Detective Constable Michael Collins, 48, and Detective Chief Inspector Alan Thomas, 48, still face charges of perverting the course of justice.
