Orchids extracted

More than 2,000 wild orchids have been saved from being bulldozed under an extension of the M3 in Hampshire. Countryside rangers dug up each one by hand from a bank at Shawford Down, near Winchester, Hampshire, and transplanted them to a safe part of the down.
