NEIGHBOURS of a psychiatric patient whose body lay undiscovered in his council flat in Clermiston, Edinburgh, for up to nine months criticised social workers and local authority officials for not checking on him. Ian Pattison, 62, who had been treated for depression, is thought to have taken his own life.
