THE QUEEN raised pounds 2.2m for the restoration of Windsor Castle from the summer opening of Buckingham Palace, 25 per cent more than forecast. Some 377,000 visitors over 56 days spent pounds 800,000 on souvenirs as well as pounds 8 entrance.
