The parents of a weeks-old baby whose skull was 'cracked like a nut' were jailed for five years for cruelty after Kingston Crown Court heard he will be handicapped for life. The man, 29, and his wife, 23, who cannot be named, denied charges of cruelty last September at their flat in Clapham, south London, but the judge said: 'One or other of you caused these terrible injuries.'
