Pensioner to appeal

Peggy Wood, 77, who lost her claim against the Law Society over the loss of her home is to appeal. Last week a High Court judge ruled that although the solicitors' regulatory body had negligently handled a complaint she made, it did not owe her, as a member of the public, a duty of care.
