Plane strikes aerial

AN AIRCRAFT carrying 30 passengers hit an aerial mast as it came in to land at Guernsey airport in thick fog. Experts from the Air Accident Investigation unit were studying details of Friday night's accident. The Shorts 360 turbo-prop aircraft demolished the aerial as the landing wheels were being lowered. It was damaged but managed to land safely.
