Judit Polgar's run of success in the Hastings International Chess Tournament - five wins in a row against some of the world's best players - ended yesterday when the 16-year-old was defeated by John Nunn in the ninth round. She and Yevgeny Bareyev are joint leaders, with six and a half points.
