DETECTIVES were yesterday examining address books found at the home of Katrina Monk to try to find a clue to her killer's identity.
They believe that the 12-year-old knew her attacker and they are still looking for her diary, which was missing when her body was found in an alley about 50 yards from her home in Enfield, north London, last Friday. Also missing were a pink cotton Body Shop bag, her black lace-up shoes, black bomber jacket and green school blazer.
Detective Inspector Malcolm Gregory said yesterday: 'From what her family tell us, it would appear she would not go away with someone she did not know.' He said Katrina was last seen at 4pm near her home in Newbury Avenue.
