John Austin, a cabinet-maker at Carroll Brothers/Trosby of Small Dole, West Sussex, sanding down a mahogany coffee table ordered by White House staff for President Bill Clinton's Oval Office. The furniture-making firm, which has also received orders from two former presidents, will send it to Washington as a gift.
