Farewell dinner for Kinnock

Neil Kinnock, outgoing Labour leader, arriving at the Savoy Hotel, London, last night for a farewell dinner at pounds 150 a head, a third of which was used for presentation gifts, which included a quaich - a Scottish drinking cup - and two goblets, all in Lindisfarne silver. Roy Hattersley, the departing deputy leader, received a silver inkstand.
