Politicians should know by now not to let the cameras see documents they take into Downing Street – particularly if they've already been caught dumping hundreds of official letters in park bins.
Oliver Letwin was forced to apologise last October after admitting disposing of sensitive information about national security and private correspondence from constituents in St James's Park. And though he was once again less than careful with his papers yesterday, the content, from Magna Housing Association in his West Dorset constituency and headed "Installation of Fence Panels", wasn't quite as sensational.
