Bob Quick,The head of Britain’s anti-terrorist branch, has just made an unreserved apology to the Conservative Party for accusing it of trying to undermine his Whitehall leaks inquiry. This follows his earlier apology for accusing the Tories of leaking the story about his wife’s car hire firm.
